I received a message about the maya’s birthday live pictures and this is the progress (it’s hard to stay productive being a lazy ass like me). They’re scanned but not ready to be posted, some photoshop work have to be done one by one so please wait a little bit for my upload.
However about this set of photos, there should be 40 scannable photos from the folder set (4) & postcard set (36) in total, but their way of selling those 36 postcards are just so…I don’t know how to say it nicely but to be honest as a customer it’s just so ridiculous I HATED IT. First, you have to pay 1000yen to do a lucky draw once, and each draw you randomly get 1 of 5 different prizes, from the grand prize a giant maya banner thingy, acrylic plastic figurines, jumbo uchiwa fan, the folder set mentioned above to a pack of 3 postcards packed randomly. That means even if you pay enough money and have enough luck to get 12 packs of postcards you still have (big) chances to NOT completing the whole set. I paid more than 20k yen and still no luck on getting more than 21 of them with duplicated cards. Even after a day of purchasing and exchanging cards with other teamers on twitter I still only have 23 of the whole 36 set. I tried my best on collecting them but there’s a limit for me and my bank account.
I’m not even angry or blaming LM.C saying that they’re money thirsty or shit like that but as a oversea teamer always trying to see them in Japan more often with limited budget and loving their printed goods I just feel kind of sad about how thy sell those postcards…Well I know it needs hell a lotta money to keep the whole LM.C runnin’ but I would be happier to get the whole 36 cards at a certain price (I don’t mind if it’s expensive) instead of throwing my money into the lucky draw hole…:/
And another thing why I’ve been this late posting the photo set is that recently I gone through some events and I feel that It’s not fair for the others that I easily share pictures the others have to pay for the FC membership to see. Long story short, if some pictures are FC restricted or related, like goods from a FC limited live, I’m basically not allowed to share them online, they’ve a rule about this. But i’ve done it quite a few times in this blog, people loved them but now I just ask myself should I continue to post them or not? The answer is clearly no but…but….hmmm…maybe this is the last time? I need some more time to figure this out by myself.
