Post Tekko and Bringing them back

Wow, Tekko was great, compared to the last time LM.C the concert blew Dallas out of the water. I can’t tell you how great it was and how wild we got when the confetti cannons went off. It was a little sad that there wasn’t as big a fan turnout as Dallas, but that can be attributed to Dallas being a bigger convention. The concert songs were mostly the same as in Dallas, I think the played MonroeWalk this time, but I don’t clearly remember.

One big plus was that with this being a smaller convention fans got a more intimate experience with the band. This time other than just getting stuff assigned we had an actual Meet & Greet. We got handshakes, high-fives, and a raffle of official merch wherein Maya and Aiji handed out the prizes. It was great.

Before the concert was the LM.C question-and-answer session. Among the questions asked you were some of the ones that stuck out, when asked about opening the fan club to foreign members the band stated they are discussing how to do that but there’s a lot of obstacles. It seems the biggest problem might be ensuring there’s enough people who want to join to justify doing it in the first place. Maya himself said don’t say you wanted and then don’t join. They also talked more about the story about what happened when they performed in France. This time they said that the guy jumped up on the stage kissed Maya and then jumped off. Maya then joked that he wished he’d been gentler. Aiji follwed with “ yeah, he was kind of forceful.” other questions included what was the most fun music video they ever recorded? They said they don’t find the process of making music videos fun. But the one that sticks out the most is the video for Super Duper Galaxy Since it took so long and they were so tired during the process. When asked what their favorite costume was They said the Super Duper Galaxy costume. Because the rabbit helmets in that video are unique and there’s only two of them. another question was are they okay with people getting LM.C tattoos. They said yes, but if it was a portrait of them that would be weird. Maya said you should ask your mom first. There were a few others, but I don’t really remember them at this point.

I had the pleasure of winning Aiji’s badge during the raffle and when he put it on me i was over the moon!

My companion and I also were lucky enough to get Rockstar badges, which meant we got to go attend the private dinner concert LM.C gave for the staff. We were allowed to go right up to the stage. So we ended up being about 3 feet (1 meter) away from them. It was awesome.

Maya stated that it was the first time they’d ever done a Dinner Show. Basically the way it worked was we all ate for an hour, and then the show started. Unlike the main show, since it was such a small crowd we got to go all the way up to the stage like I mentioned earlier. While Maya said that the band would probably never do another show like this, I hope that they do. The intimate atmosphere was really nice. You really felt like they were singing just for you.

Still I think LM.C prefers a large stage with large crowds. It’s more within their comfort zone I suppose. Even though the crowd was a bit smaller this time I think they still really enjoyed themselves. Hope to see them in the states again soon.

If you weren’t able to attend the Tekko shows you’re really miss something special.

Translations will likely resume next week.

So, I was talking with some fellow fans about possibly bringing them back for AWA 2019( Anime Weekend Atlanta). I’d recommend going to their site and putting LM.C on the guest form.
